Find out all you need to know about caravan holidays vs Airbnb holidays and how we can meet all your needs!
The digital age we live in means that something as exciting and special as going on holiday can now be booked with the click of a finger. Choosing the destination you and your family will make precious memories at is as easy as ordering an online grocery delivery, or booking a table at a local restaurant.
Last year, an estimated £698 billion was made in the world of online bookings, which in itself currently holds a value of £1.2 trillion. That’s a lot of holidays!
More and more sites such as booking.com, expedia.com, and of course, Airbnb make the world of digital travel even easier than ever before. According to the world-renowned travel provider and website listing site, Airbnb, there are almost 3 million users currently listing their properties online. That covers 100,000 cities, 7 million active listings, with an average of 14,000 hosts joining each month throughout 2021.

Lyons Holiday Parks have been helping families create precious family memories since 1925. We don’t throw that fact around to show off, but to demonstrate that something we’re doing is obviously working! Year on year, we welcome thousands of guests to our 14 holiday parks, and we’re proud of the standards and expectations we deliver season upon season.
With this in mind, we wanted to highlight the key differences between the holidays we provide, in comparison to other up-and-coming host sites. This isn’t to say that there’s a wealth of different types of accommodation out there for everyone, but merely look into how and why we can meet your needs while domestic tourism is more popular than ever before.
