Will the entertainment programme be running when the season starts?
From Friday 11th March onwards, our low season entertainment programme is set to commence. This means that our well-known and much-loved venues will be open for guests and owners to enjoy. We’re also thrilled to announce that our first-of-its-kind festival, Party in the Park, will be going ahead at selected parks throughout the year – an event not to be missed! Find out more about our past awesome parties here.
What sort of activities will there be when the season starts?
If you’re a keen holidaymaker looking to book a break over Easter, or an owner wanting to know whether to bring the grandkids over Easter, you’ll be thrilled to know that our peak entertainment timetable will run from Friday, April 8th until Sunday, April 24th. This jam-packed peak schedule will include more show-stopping, jaw-dropping entertainment from our fabulous Star Rangers, as well as guest acts, more daytime activities for the youngsters, including an Easter Extravaganza at selected parks, character breakfasts, discos and more.
Daytime and evening activities and entertainment schedules will be available upon check-in, and once we’ve crossed the i’s and dotted the t’s, you’ll be able to download a PDF too!
There’s plenty to celebrate this year (sea, sun, and the newest addition to our friends The Beach Buddies to name a few!) but one thing the whole nation will be celebrating is the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee from June 3rd-5th. Our plans to commemorate the longest-reigning monarch in British history are extra special, so watch this space to find out more nearer the time! (Rest assured, a big British party complete with cake and entertainment is definitely in store…)
What’s the latest with government guidelines?
Similarly to many tourism groups, leisure leaders and hospitality hotspots in the UK, 2022 is all about moving on from the limitations of Covid-19 while prioritising the safety and wellbeing of customers at all times. Rest assured, our teams across all departments have received regular training throughout the pandemic so you can enjoy your holiday with peace of mind.
You, our guests, are at the heart of what we do, which is why we’ll be continuing with certain practices to ensure everything runs as smoothly and safely as possible. We urge our guests to:
- Remember to check the Welsh Government website if there are any doubts about local or national restrictions
- Act responsibly if they feel unwell, and follow the government-issued advice in the event of a positive Covid-19 test
- Read up on our Peace of Mind Guarantee if you’re booking a holiday
- Be mindful of others, especially in populated or small spaces
- Regularly wash their hands, utilise our hand sanitising stations, and follow the Welsh Government’s advice relating to the wearing of face coverings.
*Please note: Covid-19 passports are not required to book a holiday at any Lyons Holiday Parks location in Wales or England. Our venues are not subject to Covid passports either.
Owners Welcome Back Parties
In our eyes, the season starts when all of our owners get the chance to dance together at our fabulous Welcome Back Parties! These will be taking place across all parks in March 2022, and you can find out more details on our events page.
Please note that the majority of our owners’ parties require tickets to enter, so please check with the park reception to avoid disappointment on the evening. Those with New Year’s Eve party tickets can exchange these in person for Welcome Back party tickets, which can be redeemed at the bar on the evening to the value of £5.
