Holiday homes between the mountains and the sea at Penmaenmawr
view caravans for saleBuying a holiday home near Conwy
The stretch of coast just west of Conwy is where the mountains of Eryri come right down to the sea. It’s a dramatic, beautiful spot, with the medieval walled town of Conwy and its castle a short drive one way and Bangor and the Menai Strait the other. If you love walking, history and big views, it’s hard to beat.
Our holiday homes here are at Pendyffryn Hall in Penmaenmawr, a holiday park in leafy grounds close to the coast. It has a 10½ month season and a good choice of new and used static caravans, whether you’re buying your first holiday home or trading up to something bigger.

Why owners choose the Conwy coast
You’re never short of things to do. Conwy Castle and the town walls are a World Heritage Site and well worth a wander, Llandudno’s pier and the Great Orme are about 20 minutes away, and the peaks of Eryri start almost on the doorstep. Closer to home, Penmaenmawr’s promenade is lovely for an evening stroll, and the Druids’ Circle in the hills above the town makes a rewarding walk.
Getting here is straightforward too. The A55 runs right along this part of the coast, putting Chester about an hour away, Liverpool around an hour and twenty minutes and Manchester roughly an hour and forty minutes. Penmaenmawr has its own station on the North Wales Coast line as well.
