Become part of the pride

Since 1924, Lyons Holiday Parks has been at the heart of holidaymaking in North Wales. What began with Joe William Lyons’ first park in Rhyl has grown into a family-run business with 20 locations across North Wales and the Lake District.

Every year, over 4,000 owners return to what we proudly call the Lyons family — drawn by the warm, welcoming atmosphere that sets our parks apart. It’s this familial feel that keeps generations coming back.

Still led by Joe’s great-grandsons, Geoff and Joseph Lyons-Mound, our family values remain at the core of everything we do — offering our owners a true home from home, where lifelong memories and friendships are made.

A home from home

Towyn is one of North Wales’ most popular seaside resorts, buzzing with bars, clubs, restaurants, and classic amusements galore. But it’s more than just roller coasters and candyfloss.

Nature lovers can explore Kinmel Dunes Nature Reserve – a wheelchair-accessible, mile-long trail bursting with wildlife and beach views. History buffs are also spoiled, with nearby Roman ruins, the start of Offa’s Dyke in Prestatyn, and a trio of iconic castles: Rhuddlan, Gwyrch, and Conwy.

Whether it’s seaside fun or scenic adventure, Towyn delivers the best of both worlds.

Great for the Lyons Cubs

Towyn is great for kids of all ages which is why so many families come here every year.  The town itself is a huge playground full to the brim of amusements and fair grounds, making it a great location for holidays with teenagers.

Towyn has even more for smaller children too with a multitude of adventure playgrounds and activities outside the our parks including Planet Play in Towyn, as well as Geronimo’s and The Palace in nearby Rhyl.

We also host a range of entertainment at our multiple holiday parks in Towyn, in particular; Winkups which has regular entertainment for the little ones, direct beach access and is directly opposite the road from Towyns biggest fair.

It's happening in Towyn

Towyn isn’t just a kids’ playground—it’s packed with entertainment for the whole family.

Right across from our Winkups resort, Tir Prince race track offers a thrilling twist on horse racing, just steps from the Funland fair. For nightlife, you’re spoiled for choice with pubs, clubs, and bars like Knightly’s Long Bar, Cues Sports Bar, and The Seagull Inn—all serving up live music, themed nights, and late-night vibes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes of course! However, this will be guided by the size of your holiday home and plot availability. New development areas only allow for new holiday homes.

Yes our parks are all dog friendly. All we ask is that owners ensure their dogs are kept on a lead at all times and waste is disposed of appropriately.

Yes you can sublet your new static caravan. New static caravans that have mod cons and specs, naturally become more attractive if you intend on subletting, and our owners have managed to earn substantial amounts through subletting.

Every park has a 20 year age limit that starts from the date of manufacture. Once the holiday home reaches 20 years of age the park manager will inspect the unit. As long as they are happy the unit meets health and safety standards, along with park standards, then the park operator will be happy for you to remain on the park. The caravan will then be inspected on a yearly basis or before should there be concerns.

Absolutely, holiday home ownership is all about enjoying time with friends and family building memories together.

It all depends on which park you’re at. Our holiday park seasons range from 7½ month seasons to 12 month including being open over Christmas and New Year.

Unfortunately as a non-residential park, all holiday homes must be vacated for a short period each year. Please contact the park directly for further details.
