Find out all you need to know about the best festival on the North Wales Coast – Party in the Park, exclusively at Lyons Robin Hood in 2022!
The all-singing, action-packed, glitter-infused event is back with a bang – and we couldn’t be happier!
After a smash-hit year in 2021, we’re thrilled to announce that Party in the Park will be back on Saturday, August 27th 2022 for another round of show-stopping performances, live acts and entertainment, food and drink stalls, face painting stations, and much, much more!
Forget Glastonbury, Lyons Robin Hood Showground is the place to be this weekend. Here’s everything you need to know about our favourite festival of the year:
How do I get tickets for Party in the Park?
This event is going to be huge! Therefore spaces are limited in order for us to maintain crowd control measures and ensure everyone’s safety at all times. This is why we will be operating on a ticketed system where wristbands are required for entry.
Simply turn up on Saturday morning to start queuing outside the green and present either your holiday wristbands (the ones you get when you arrive on park) or your Owners Select Pass as ‘Lyons Robin Hood ID’, and get ready for a full day of fun.
What about priority wristbands?
To make things easier and quicker, we’ve decided to leave out priority wristbands for this year. Don’t worry, our lovely owners will be able to queue in a fast-track line, allowing you faster access to the park. Holiday guests or visitors can simply queue from 11.30am on the day, and each guest will receive a wristband (children under 3 won’t need one.)
Is Party in the Park free?
This is a free event for any guests and owners, courtesy of Lyons Holiday Parks! However, please remember that there is a cap on numbers so we will be operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. When you receive your wristbands at the entrance barrier, please keep them on for the remainder of the day in order to come and go as you please.
Please note: the entertainment, guest acts, and Star Ranger shows are all free to watch, but drinks, food, and sweet treats can all be purchased via cash only. There are only two cash machines on-park, and we just know how many people will be turning up to this event…so come prepared! There are plenty of shops located close to the park, including a Spar within a mile in each direction out of the main entrance.
Who can go to this event?
This event is strictly for guests and owners at Lyons Robin Hood, who have booked a holiday directly through Lyons Holiday Parks. Guest wristbands or Owners Select Passes must be shown in order to obtain wristbands, as members of the general public cannot attend Party in the Park. Those who have booked privately (i.e. renting a sub-letted caravan directly from an owner) will be asked to purchase entertainment passes from reception before queuing.
What will be at Party in the Park?
*Please note this is an outdoor event, so dress appropriately! Toilets are located in Foresters Bar and Sherwoods, so please be mindful of other holiday guests when walking through the main complex.
LIVE ACTS, MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT
We have an incredible lineup of live acts and music to keep you partying all day long from tribute acts to our own Star Rangers, and a wealth of entertainment all day.
FOOD & DRINK
Feeding those rumbling tummies won’t be a problem at Party in the Park. You’ll be spoilt for choice with the range of mouth-watering food stalls we have on offer. Expect juicy burgers and hot dogs from the BBQ, as well as treats and snacks to revitalise those energy levels throughout the day!
You can also enjoy a whole range of refreshing beverages and soft drinks from our outdoor bars.
FIRST AID POINT & LOST CHILD POINT
A team of first aid responders will be on the green throughout the event to attend to any emergencies or first-aid issues. There will also be an allocated ‘lost child’ meeting point, so it’s best to familiarise you and your family with the allocated area.
What if I can’t get there on Saturday morning to queue?
As we’ve highlighted, there is limited capacity at this event, so if you are at first refused entry, we apologise!
Can I bring my own alcohol?
Strictly no alcohol is permitted at the venue other than that purchased from the assigned beer tents and watering holes. Security will be present throughout the event, and will reserve the right to remove alcohol from your possession upon entry. This is non-negotiable, and the security team will be observing the event to ensure this protocol is adhered to. Any alcohol purchased off the premises will be confiscated, and you may be asked to leave the event. We ask that you respect this rule, as well as our security team, who are there to keep you safe.
Will the rest of the park be open?
Absolutely! Party in the Park is an additional event that we’ve put on for you all to enjoy this summer. The rest of Lyons Robin Hood will be operating as normal on the day of Party in the Park, including the arcades, bars, soft play areas and swimming pool. This means that Foresters Show Bar will still be open from 7pm as usual, with the full evening entertainment schedule in full swing. (Pick up an entertainment programme from reception so you don’t miss a beat!)
