For those in search of a scene adorned with snow-dusted trees, we recommend visiting Grizedale Forest, an ideal choice if you’re staying at our Lake District caravan park, Manor House. On the other hand, if you’re eager to take a trip to the Welsh Hills, we have plenty to offer there as well. Woodlands Hall is conveniently located at the base of the Clwydian Range, a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Here, you can discover fantastic attractions such as Moel Famau and Loggerheads, making your visit truly memorable.
Light Switch On's and Christmas Markets
There’s a multitude of options available when it comes to Christmas Markets and festive light celebrations in North Wales and Cumbria. If you happen to be at Manor House, we suggest considering the Ambleside light switch-on event, which boasts spectacular fireworks, a charming lantern parade, and a wide array of Christmas stalls. Additionally, the Hawkshead Christmas Fayre is a must-visit.
For those located in North Wales, you’ll also find a wealth of Christmas Markets and light switch-on events to partake in. The Rhyl Christmas light switch-on promises an enjoyable day out if you’re staying at Lido Beach, and there are numerous delightful Christmas markets to explore in the vicinity. We highly recommend the Beaumaris Victorian Christmas event at Beaumaris Castle, offering a captivating journey back in time to the traditions of Christmas past.
