Why owners choose Prestatyn
For a lot of our owners it comes down to the drive. Prestatyn is just off the A55, roughly 40 minutes from Chester, an hour or so from Liverpool and around an hour and a half from Manchester, so a Friday night arrival is easy. There’s a train station in the town too, on the North Wales Coast line.
Once you’re here, the beach is the main draw, but there’s plenty more on the doorstep. Follow the coast towards Talacre and its lighthouse, climb Prestatyn Hillside for views across the bay, or spend an afternoon in Rhyl, a few minutes along the coast. Outside the summer months many stretches of beach welcome dogs, so it’s a great spot for walks all year.
What it costs to own a caravan in Prestatyn

We sell holiday homes at two parks in Prestatyn. Lido Beach is a seafront holiday park with direct access to the beach, and St Mary’s Lodge Park is an owners-only park with a quieter feel. Both have a mix of new and used static caravans.
How long is the season at your Prestatyn holiday parks?
Lido Beach has a 10½ month season, running from 1st March to 10th January, so it remains open over Christmas and New Year. St Mary’s Lodge Park is open for 12 months of the year. All holiday homes are for holiday use only, so you’ll need a permanent residential address elsewhere.
Can I sublet my caravan out when I'm not using it?

How far is Prestatyn from Manchester and Liverpool?
Prestatyn is just off the A55. Depending on traffic it’s around 40 minutes from Chester, an hour from Liverpool and about an hour and a half from Manchester, which is why so many owners come from the North West.
Can I bring my dog to my caravan?
Yes, both of our Prestatyn parks are pet friendly. We just ask that dogs are kept on a lead around the park. The dunes and the coast path towards Talacre make for brilliant walks.
