Buying a holiday home in Towyn
Towyn has long been one of the most popular spots on the North Wales coast for caravan owners, and it’s not hard to see why. The beach is long and sandy, the coast path runs right along the front, and there’s a cheerful holiday feel that families love, with Knightly’s funfair and the Tir Prince raceway close by. Kinmel Bay and Rhyl are just to the east, and Abergele is a few minutes to the west.
We have three parks in Towyn, so there’s plenty of choice. Winkups is a lively holiday park with lots going on, Oakfield is a friendly, relaxed holiday park, and Abbeyffordd is owners-only and the quietest of the three. All of them have new and used static caravans for sale.

Why owners choose Towyn
Towyn is easy to get to and easy to enjoy. It’s just off the A55, around 45 minutes from Chester, an hour or so from Liverpool and about an hour and a half from Manchester. If you’re coming by train, Rhyl station is only a short taxi ride away.
Days here revolve around the beach and the coast. Walk or cycle the coast path towards Rhyl harbour or along to Pensarn, spend an afternoon at the fair, or head inland to St Asaph and its cathedral. Llandudno and Conwy are around half an hour along the A55 for a change of scene.
What it costs to own a caravan in Towyn
Pitch fees are one of the first things people compare in Towyn, so we’ll always be upfront. Your annual pitch fee covers the running of the park and its facilities, and it varies by park and by pitch, so we’ll give you an exact figure for the spot you choose. On top of that you’ll budget for utilities and insurance, and we’ll set all of it out in writing before you commit.
Winkups, Oakfield and Abbeyffordd all have a 10½ month holiday season, giving you plenty of time to make the most of your holiday home throughout the year.
