Become part of the pride

Almost 100 years ago all the way back in 1924, Joe William Lyons founded the first Lyons Holiday Park in Rhyl. Now 98 years later in 2023 the Lyons group has gone from strength to strength, occupying over 20 parks across North Wales and The Lake District.

Almost 4000 owners come back to the Lyons family every year, and this number continues to grow. Here at Lyons, you’re not just a customer, you’re part of our family. That familial feeling people get when they come here is reason people choose us, and the reason we’ve been able to build our business to the size it is today.

When we say we’re a family, we really mean it. Our business is still family owned, with the great grandsons of founder Joe William Lyons, now at the helm. Working hard to maintain the family values that Lyons was founded on, and giving our customers the best of British Holidaymaking at the best price.

Every family has a place they call home, and we intend to make Lyons your second home. To make cherished memories with your beloved family and making lifelong friendships with everyone here at Lyons.

Welcome to Towyn...

Something for everyone...

Welcome to your new home from home, or as we say in Wales adref oddicartref.

Towyn is one of the most sought after resorts in North Wales, due to it’s huge range of bars, clubs, restaurants and typical seaside amusements by the bucket load. But Towyn isn’t just roller coasters and candyfloss.

There are many natural and historic attractions that you can enjoy within the town and in the surrounding areas. The Kinmel Dunes Nature Reserve is one of them, being accessible to wheelchair users, it’s a 1 mile circular walk that’s flourishing with nature and also passes the beach.

There is plenty of history in the local area. The old Roman path; Offas Dyke starts in nearby Prestatyn with old Roman baths visible from here too. There is also plenty of castles here with Rhuddlan Castle, Gwyrch Castle and Conwy Castle all within a short drive.

Great for the Lyon Cubs

Towyn is great for kids of all ages which is why so many families come here every year.  The town itself is a huge playground full to the brim of amusements and fair grounds, making it a great location for holidays with teenagers.

Towyn has even more for smaller children too with a multitude of adventure playgrounds and activities outside the our parks including Planet Play in Towyn, as well as Geronimo’s and The Palace in nearby Rhyl.

We also host a range of entertainment at our multiple holiday parks in Towyn, in particular; Winkups which has regular entertainment for the little ones, direct beach access and is directly opposite the road from Towyns biggest fair.

It's happening in Towyn

Towyn isn’t just a playground for kids. There is plenty for adults to enjoy here with entertainment to satisfy all families.

The Tir Prince race track is directly opposite our Winkups resort and adjacent to the Funland fair, perfect for anyone who fancies a flutter on a different type of horse racing.

There is also plenty of pubs, clubs, bars and restaurants in and around Towyn that are open until late and have entertainment to suit all audiences. Knightly’s Long Bar, Cues Sports Bar and The Seagull Inn have plenty of regular entertainment and themed nights on.
