At Lyons, many of our holiday parks are situated in beautiful areas within the countryside, and there are plenty of country parks, mountains and country pubs to enjoy while you stay with us. Quaint country villages
It’s nice to be up in the sticks, and even better to enjoy the local delicacies, history and quaint village architecture. There are plenty of beautiful towns and villages with regular activities, cafes and restaurants for you to enjoy and then head back to our parks to sleep it all off!
So much to do!
Just because you’re up in the sticks doesn’t mean you’ll be bored! Theres plenty to do whether it be exploring the slate caverns of Snowdonia, Kayaking down the River Dee, or BMX riding in the forests of the Lake District. We’ve got so much to do on the doorstep of our country parks!

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the cancellation policy?
It may be necessary to cancel your holiday due to illness, accident or change of circumstances. Please note that if you have made a newspaper promotional booking and you choose to cancel your holiday no refund will be made.
As soon as you know you need to cancel, call the park directly or confirm the cancellation in writing to Bookings Department, Lyons Holiday Parks Head Office, Coast Road, Rhyl, LL18 3UU. The letter must be signed by the person who made the booking (lead guest). Cancellation charges are calculated as follows from the date your written instructions are received.

If you have not arrived by 9am on the morning after your holiday was due to commence or contacted the Park concerned to confirm when you will arrive, except in exceptional circumstances, we will assume that the break is cancelled and the total holiday cost will be charged.

Is parking included?
Complimentary parking is available for all guests at our holiday parks. While some caravans and lodges have designated parking directly outside, this is not always guaranteed. Nevertheless, ample parking bays are conveniently located throughout our parks, ensuring a short and easy walk to your accommodation.
What time is check in?
Check in time is between 2-4 pm and is dependent on what accommodation you have booked. Early check in is available for an extra fee of £20 when you call the park directly. You can find your parks direct number on the contact us page.
Do you have any holiday parks near to Blue Flag Beaches?
Yes! We have two parks which are very close to North Wales’ only Blue Flag Beach of Prestatyn; Robin Hood in Rhyl and Lido Beach in Prestatyn. Both have different offerings for different holidaymakers, Robin Hood has all the action with plenty of entertainment, and activities whereas Lido Beach is slightly more relaxed and closer to the Beach.
Do you have any holiday parks with direct beeach access?
Yes, we have a number of holiday parks that have direct beach access! For those looking for a coastal break with direct beach access, Lido Beach, Sunnysands and Winkups have direct beach access to their local beaches; Prestatyn, Tal-Y-Bont and Kimnel Bay. We also have ownership parks that have direct beach access such as Point-of-Ayr Holiday park with access to Talacre Beach and Abbeyffordd Holiday Park which has direct beach access to Towyn Beach
