What a whirlwind the past two years have been! From welcoming our lovely guests back to our parks last spring, to launching our collection of signature hotel rooms last winter, to bagging our first award at the Go North Wales awards, and investing in our fantastic facilities such as a new play park and multi-lane slide this season.
These are just some of the few accolades we’re proud to look back on, and we’d love for you to join us on our throwback journey over the past two years.

Because for the first time this season, Lyons Holiday Parks are thrilled to announce our entry into the British Traveller Awards! This means a great deal to us, especially as this year’s ceremony combines all of 2021 and 2022’s achievements.

1. January 2021
- Work commenced on our brand new development, Hawthorn View, at Lyons Robin Hood, bringing you more high-end plots in a gated community
- Love What’s Local – Our Community Incentive Project launched to support local businesses across North Wales and Cumbria
- Toybox Appeal Supported by Lyons Holiday Parks Breaks Charity Record in Local Christmas Miracle
- Simba the Guide Dog’s first update – we received the news last autumn that our gorgeous black lab puppy had been born, and was doing great in his litter.
2. February 2021
- Lyons Celebrates 2021 Traveller Review Award at Lyons Woodlands Hall
- Work begins at Dyserth Falls as construction crews transform the chalets and complex
- Lyons Holiday Parks work with DWP to provide jobs boost to those otherwise on universal credit
3. March 2021
- Lyons Holiday Parks got Tik Tok, meaning our guests and owners can interact and follow us on more social channels!
- First-ever World Book Day Competition launched where a family is in with the chance of winning a holiday
- International Women’s Day – celebrating equal opportunities and our Lyons women in power
- Why Lyons Nant Hall Are Supporting the Community
- Lyons Pendyffryn Hall makes an appearance on BBC Breakfast, showing our commitment to welcoming our owners and guests back to our parks by implementing the safest procedures and guidelines
4. April 2021
- We welcomed our guests back for the Easter break after the UK lockdown.
5. May 2021
- Cheese and Wine Event at Lyons Robin Hood marks the start of Community Incentive Project
- Touring and camping in the UK get the thumbs up from the government ahead of the summer
- Wales re-opens hospitality indoors and we couldn’t be happier to share our amazing menus with you
- Holiday park magic returns with our brand new 2021 Star Rangers

- Lyons Group’s Expansion Results in Dozens of Employment Opportunities for youngsters otherwise on Universal Credit

- Macmillan Coffee Mornings raise hundreds across all parks for a well-known charity
- Halloween hits North Wales and kids go mad for crafts at Lyons Eryl Hall
- A special evening to celebrate the lives of two friends of the park: Jeff & Joyce Cross, raising £8,000 for the family
11. November 2021
- Rafa Benitez visits Lyons Robin Hood and Lyons Nant Hall in aid of OLLY children’s charity

- Lyons Nant Hall partners with North Wales Superkids to bring smiles instead of tears this Christmas
- Defibrillators installed at six parks in a bid to protect owners and guests

- Brand new Splash Zone at Lyons Robin Hood, meaning swimmers can dive headfirst into 2022
- Brand new adventure playground at Lyons Winkups Holiday Park in Towyn
- Investment in a selection of hot tub caravans, so our guests can bubble up and chill out
- ‘Easter chick appeal’ alongside North Wales Superkids, raising over £2,000 from hand-knitted cosies and Creme Eggs!
- The launch of our 2022 Discount Location Guide with more businesses on board than ever before – and this year, Lyons team members can make the most of the deals!
- New kitchen launches at Lyons Eryl Hall and Lyons Oakfield, providing tip-top meals for our guests and owners at great prices
- Specials nights at our ownership parks, including the famous Chip Shop Friday and Curry Mondays. We’re continuously reviewing our menus and appreciate your feedback!
- Welcomed our brand new Beach Buddies to Lyons Robin Hood and Lyons Winkups, as well as our new friend, ZeeZee!
